On October 14, 2009 GCS appointed new Regional Director for CIS and Baltic countries. Mr. Vitaly Shevel, CEO of GCS Ukraine, was chosen to fill this position. He replaced Ms. Sinicaite (Lithuania) on this position.

Except of representative duties, Regional Director is responsible for group’s marketing strategy in the region, development of relations between offices, compliance with group’s code of ethics and regional budget.

Filling the position Mr. Shevel announced that the main development directons within the region for him are GCS entering on developing markets of CIS where collection business is just starting up (Moldova, Belarus, Georgia etc.) and creation of goof image of collection business on post-soviet area for Europe and rest of the world.

In addition, GCS appointed regional director for Asia-Pacific. Janson Cheah, CEO of GCS China was chosen to fill this position.
